Why have I not received my order yet?

We ship in-stock items within 24 hours of being placed. Occasionally we will not have an item in stock and these can take 1-2 weeks to become available again. We will call on all out-of-stock orders that we anticipate being out of stock for more than 2 weeks.

Many times a problem with the payment processing of an order will delay the order. You will receive both an order confirmation with a 5-digit order number on each correctly placed order. You should get a payment confirmation with a 12-digit alpha-numeric number. If you do not receive both of these confirmations or you get an “AVS DECLINED” message on the order confirmation then there was a problem with the payment. This will delay your order.

Why didn’t my order payment process correctly?

For your security, as well as ours, we use address verification on all orders. The billing address you specify during the checkout process MUST match the address where your credit card statement is mailed. If this address does not match, your card will not approve. This will delay your order. You will receive an order confirmation email as well as a payment confirmation email if the completed and paid order is processed correctly.

Why don’t you accept credit cards for orders over $1,500.00?

For your convenience, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit cards as well as PayPal as forms of payment. To keep our prices as competitive as possible we have to limit credit card purchases to $1,500.00 because of the high cost of accepting these cards on these larger purchases. With merchant credit card acceptance costs of 3% or more, large purchases can cost us several hundred dollars or more. For these larger orders, we gladly accept certified checks, direct bank transfers, money orders as well as business and personal checks (subject to a 10-day delay for clearing).

What are your shipping costs for orders?

We ship most orders of $100.00 or more free within the 48 lower states of the USA. We calculate shipping for US orders under $100.00 during checkout. You can get shipping costs for larger items not eligible for free shipping by calling us at 985-845-7146.

Why did I pay more for shipping than the postal postage label on my order package?

There is more to shipping costs than just actual postage or carrier fees. For example, there are handling costs such as packaging material, labor costs to pack and fulfill orders, and transportation costs. Furthermore, we also spend time at the post office or other carriers. Most importantly, we try our best to keep shipping costs as low as possible even in the face of rapidly rising costs. Even with the high cost, the convenience of having orders delivered to your door should make up for the cost.

How do you ship orders?

To ensure prompt delivery, we send smaller orders by either First Class Mail or Priority Mail. Packages usually arrive in 2-3 business days. In addition, we also use FedEx Ground which takes 5-7 business days for delivery. Large items that require shipping by freight line can take 2 to 3 weeks. The weight of the order will determine the shipping method.
