DEFECTIVE / DAMAGED ITEMS:
WAVE 7 RETURN POLICY states you may return any item within 30 days of receipt for manufacturer defects. In addition, You can return damaged items or those with manufacturer defects within 30 days for an exchange. Also, there will be no cost for the shipping of the returned item or replacement item to the customer. Please note damaged/defective merchandise must be in its original box and contain all of the original packing slips and inserts. WAVE 7 RETURN POLICY requires notification prior to the return shipment of the defective/damaged item. That is because handling and shipping of the defective item may differ by product/manufacturer.
STOCK / INVENTORIED ITEMS:
Wave 7 will allow returns requested within thirty (30) days of receipt for any inventoried/stock item. So, Wave 7 will issue an RMA number upon notification of the return. However, they do not permit instant, block or blank RMAs. Consequently, if you return an item damaged/defective where we cannot resell, we may deny credit partially or in full. It all depends on the condition upon receipt. However, if you return it in good, sellable condition, we will issue a credit less any shipping, handling and drop ship fees.
WAVE 7 RETURN POLICY MADE-TO-ORDER (MTO) ITEMS:
Made-to-order items have a special return policy as these are “custom” products that we produce on demand. You may receive a total refund ONLY if the order HASN’T shipped or it is in production. Items in production are classified as our “made-to-order” products. Therefore, these products are produced or assembled when you place your order.
MTO items cannot be returned for the reason of “Buyer’s Remorse”. So, we can ONLY accept returns for manufacturer defects. We have a section section “DEFECTIVE / DAMAGED ITEMS” that explains more.
Since MTO products are produced on-demand, any item that is already in production cannot be canceled. Therefore, our MTO items all have this Cancellation/Return Policy, effective immediately. Please understand this policy is only applicable to those orders that have been submitted but have not shipped. As a result, once we have shipped an MTO product, it is non-refundable. If it is returned due to a manufacturers defect the defective product will be replaced.
For MTO items with a 7-10 business days ship window:
Days since order placed – Cancellation Fee / Restocking Fee
0 – 2 days No penalty as long item has not gone into production
3 – 5 days 50 % non-refundable
6+ days 100 % non-refundable
For MTO items with a 2-3 weeks ship window:
Days since order placed – Fee for Cancellation/ Fee for Restocking
0 – 3 days There is No penalty if the product is not yet in production.
4 – 6 days non-refundable 20 %
7 – 9 days non-refundable 50 %
10+ days non-refundable100 %
For MTO items with a 3-6 weeks ship window:
Days since order placed – Cancellation Fee / Restocking Fee
0 – 5 days No penalty as long item has not gone into production
6 – 9 days 20 % non-refundable
10 – 12 days 50 % non-refundable
13+ days 100 % non-refundable
